“My son’s sleep is so important to me because he was such a rough sleeper the first year of his life. I knew we had a trip coming up so I purchased the pod to test out and see if it would help his transition to a new place. We tried it out when we visited family last week! He did SO great! Took longer than typical naps and we were able to enjoy our family without having a grumpy toddler on our hands! I will say, it took some time (he’s still adjusting) to actually see it over his bed. He can understand it’s something different and that frightens him. But once he’s asleep... he is out like a light!! Overall great product!!!”
“This is the best baby item ever created for anyone traveling with kids. We love how dark it is, it’s the perfect size and it has a pocket for a baby monitor. The material is nice and soft and it’s compact for travel. Easy setup. This gave us less stress for travel because we know our son will sleep well and we will sleep better too!”
“We are very happy with our Slumber Pod. We were a bit clumsy setting it up the first time but we got the hang of it by the 2nd and 3rd times. Sadly, our Philips Avent baby monitor camera does not lie flush against the clear plastic camera window and therefore doesn't focus/capture our baby (it captures the plastic of the window). We managed to find a different way to suspend our camera by zipping it in the main opening. Regardless, we are still happy with our purchase and would recommend it.”

“The slumberpod is perfect if you have to share a room with your little one. It gives them their own space. My daughter does not sleep well if your in the same room as her and she can see you. The Slumberpod allows me to set her playpen up in our bedroom or living room while still being able to move around with lights on and have her sleep in darkness. The only issue with me is that the temperature reading on the monitor was always very high and would make me worried my daughter was way too hot in there. But I’m not sure if it’s because there not much airflow for the monitor holder.”
Thank you for the wonderful review Mel! We are so thrilled you love your SlumberPod. To answer your question, the temperature on the monitor will read warmer then it actually is due to the vinyl punch. SlumberPod may get 1-2 degrees warmer so we recommend dressing baby accordingly. Happy sleeping!
“Great product - the idea is amazing and it does help with the room situation with our 8month old. But the hotel room was tight : hard to assemble (you need space to assemble), we had to bring the pack and play as well. Wished it would work with travel cribs provided at the hotel so we would have one less thing to pack.”
