“I purchased the SlumberPod and as I was setting it up, noticed one of the bottom straps was torn off, so the pole had no where to anchor. That was frustrating, but they made up for it by sending me a label and had me return it while they shipped me another one. So I had just had to wait longer before I could use it. The new one had the straps intact. It works well on blocking out light. I was worried about not enough ventilation, but there are several areas where air can pass through. I’ve sat inside it too, and it didn’t seem too stuffy. Baby took some getting used to it, but seems to like it. The setup is kind of a pain if you’re in a tight space. The poles are really long, so you need room to extend them before bending.”
Thank you for sharing your experience. Setting up in small spaces can be a challenge. Here is a link to our blog post with helpful tips and tricks setting up SlumberPod in tight spaces: https://www.slumberpod.com/blogs/our-blog/5-tricks-for-tight-spaces?_pos=2&_sid=9cd69bd94&_ss=r
“I’m really grateful for this invention as it helps darken the space taking away distractions and light during naptime when we travel. The installation is simple and goes up in less than 10 minutes.”
“My only regret is not buying this sooner. Setup is super easy and can be managed in even a tight space. My only issue is that the pouch for the baby cam isn’t great. Not sure if I’m using it incorrectly, because I have the indicator light on the monitor blacked out, but the clear plastic is reflective and when the camera is on, I can’t see the baby, just the shiny surface of the plastic pouch. Even so, I love this little tent! My sister-in-law saw it and asked if comes in adult sizes.”
“Super easy to set up, soft material. The only thing I wish was different was to be able to fit a fan on the top to blow some air onto the pack and play instead of from the bottom. I was so worried it was going to get too hot in there.”
“This is without a doubt worth the money. My baby sleeps so well in it and it’s so nice to not have to worry about light when we go on a trip, especially in the summer when the sun doesn’t set till 8pm. It’s easy to set up, easy to get baby in and out, nice material, and compact-able for traveling. Love that baby can stand in it so that we can use it for a long time.”
