“When we go to visit my in-laws my daughter sleeps in the brightest room , and no matter how much we shut off lights and close windows it’s still so bright! We got to use our SlumberPod for the first time this weekend and it was seriously a dream! She slept the whole night! And even took a 3 hour nap during the day! I suggest the slumberpod to everyone I know! It’s a must!”
“I was VERY much on the fence about investing in a slumberpod- we don't travel that much so I really didn't see the point in spending so much money on a glorified tent. I decided to take advantage of the PrimeDay sale & test it out on our summer vacation. The first night we got here we didn't setup the SP and my 2 year old son slept awful- he was up at 2am, then in bed with us & awake for the day at 5am!!! I setup the SP for his nap the following day and since then he's been in it every time he sleeps BECAUSE he's sleeping like a dream. We're talking 2+ hour naps and not waking up in the morning until 8am and even later.
I thought this was a ridiculously overpriced tent but after using it for the past week I think it was the best $150 we've spent in a LONG time. Do yourself a favor and get one asap!”
“I’m really loving the SlumberPod! I introduced it very SLOWLY. I’m a planner/preparer.
I bought it a month in advance for a trip to texas and to “train” my 9 month old to sleep in it as I will be working at my moms in the future. Her room is so bright and my parents are the kind that believe they should “sleep in the light.” Yeah NO. So anywho, I introduced it very slowly.
First I just put kiddo in the pack n play in his room for play. I also started sleeping with his sheet for a week or two. I then found a mattress similar to his crib. Then I set up the slumber pod around it. Started putting him in there for play and leaving it open. Then I’d give him a bottle in there. Eventually I’d start his sleep routine in there, instead of the crib… putting on sleep sack, binky, etc… but ending up in his crib for sleep. I then started “playing peek a boo while closing it.”
Finally, I started ending his nap routine in the slumber pod and he fell asleep without a hitch! He’s now sleeping in there exclusively for his first nap. Up next, second nap and then bedtime before our trip.
I’m a believer and LOVE the convenience that I can take it anywhere and know my kiddo will sleep (praise the Lord!) lol no more figuring out blackout curtains and all that.
The quality is also top notch! I keep my cats out of the room as I don’t want holes ending up in the slumberpod! Maybe they will make patches in the future?
LOVE the navy one with the stars ⭐️
Hot tip: works with the Nanit travel stand version, just out is SIDEWAYS and press the top of the plastic down on the camera working your way down trying to have it “stick” to it; won’t be super super clear but it can still read my kiddos breathing.”
“The slumberpod is fine and will block light, but the product is underwhelming.
Assembly is a bit cumbersome and even more so if you are in a small room. I do not like the sleeve design for the poles at the top of the pod. My guess is these are cost saving measure.
I would like to see more of a door integrated into the design. This way my kiddo can get in and out of it and pretend it is a tent.”
“I will update after I’ve used the product but wanted to say how great this company’s customer service is. There was an item missing from my shipment that likely wasn’t even their fault, but I received really quick replies, and they went above and beyond to straighten things out. I look forward to trying the curtains out next time we travel, but for now, I am thrilled with the ease of ordering from them.”
