“Borna made the trip epic! His knowledge and fluent language was above and beyond. The itinerary was an active pace but not over barring. Great hotels, cities and sites. I especially enjoyed to heritage meals every where. All that was needed, and half way through executed, was water to be provided by smartours at included meals. I understand drinks may not be included but water and as much of it needs to be provided.”

“Having been blessed with a lifetime of world travel and after taking the SmartTours Jewels of the Adriatic adventure I feel compelled to send a letter of accomodation for Borna Baradic. Our adventures have been with many different travel companies and guides all over the world. Borna is one of the best tour leaders we have ever experienced. He is knowledgable on history beyond belief and perfectly arranged every logistic of the trip. The group was very diversified as to goals and expectations and Borna instinctively knew how to personalized everyone’s needs and challenges. This comes from not only dedicated experience but a real professional who cares about his job and company. He was incredibly compassionate and patient with our somewhat hard to please group. Many were elderly and did not have a good understanding of the scope and physicality of the tour beforehand. Every day Borna was my hero as he rose to each challenge with a smile on his face and a no nonsense solve the problem response. He was kind and understanding no matter how difficult the moment became. He is a consumate professional and deserves recognition for his outstanding service. He enhanced our trip in so many little ways so that everyone would get the most out of their experience. We thank him and really appreciate the two weeks we shared.”

“We had an amazing trip to Croatia, Montenegro and Slovenia May 17 - 28, 2024. Our SmarTours Guide (Jon) was fun-loving, a great historian, and an overall great guy. Our group of 17 was the perfect size, and the cost was extremely reasonable. SmarTours always surprises us with outstanding accommodations - especially the Park Hotel in Bled, Slovenia. We had plenty of free time to explore on our own, and the pace of the tour was easy going (no 6:00AM wakeup calls nor late night drop-offs).”

“We had a full schedule with excellent guides and places to see. The value for the tour was very good. Hotels were fine and the breakfasts were sumptuous. There was so much information to take in I felt their should be a simple daily handout.”
