“A wonderful vacation visiting many cities of Portugal from SmarTours. It exceeded my expectations and I was not disappointed at all. The 4-Star and sometimes 5 Star hotels were clean, comfortable and either right in the centre of the cities or close by. Walking distance for sure to places that one would want to visit on their own. The staff at these hotels were very accommodating. For the reasonable price of the tour(even in American dollars). it was the best bang for your buck. We saw the very best of Porto, Coimbra, Evora, Lisbon and many more. There was just the right amount of free time to experience these wonderful cities on our own. Even the optional tour to Sintra was an experience we will not forget. The tour of no more than 28 people was a mix of couples and singles which was a nice balance. Everyone mixed beautifully. Best of all though, was the incredible, knowlegable guide Rui who with his humour, wit and intelligence made the daily tours so wonderful. He lends context, customizing dining and free time ideas. This is my second trip on SmarTours, last year it was Taste of Italy and I will certainly continue to visit other countries with them.”

“It was a great Tour. We enjoyed all the sightseeings , tours and visits to museums, churches, castles. Our tour director Liliana Pereira was excellent. She was so knowledgeable about the history of Portugal and all the sites we visited. Smart Tours delivered again a great Tour”
