“I own both a litter robot connect and a Leo’s loo too.
Areas where the Leo’s loo too beats the litter robot are
1. Design - much much more aesthetically pleasing
2 Sound - much quieter
3 cycle time - about twice as fast
Things I think could be improved
1 the litter robot has a ‘history’ tab where it graphs out bathroom usage over a week, month, etc. the Leo’s loo too has a daily recap but it’s not easy to look at trends or quickly compare one day to another
2 there’s no way to completely and quickly empty all the litter for cleaning
3 the Leo’s loo too doesn’t always sense when my cat uses the bathroom (although the safety features do work 100%) so the waste isn’t always cycled immediately. I do think this is user error where I haven’t correctly zeroed the loo because I set it up on carpet - but point remains it’s a little annoying the loo has to be placed on hardwood.
Overall, I love the Leo’s loo too (w a couple small caveats) and prefer it over the robot. My cat took one day to get acclimated and we’ve had no issues since. Good smell control and the waste liner lasts about a week to 10 days for one cat w 2 boxes.”

“The brand new litter box can be found via Bluetooth but isn’t capable of connecting. No problems with home wifi. The Leo’s Loo just doesn’t connect. The only option for support is an email with a 24 response goal. I am technically savvy and I have been messing with this thing for over and hour, there is very little helpful info in the troubleshooting section and no real-time support. As a busy professional I don’t have time to revisit this problem again after waiting a day, and without the app there is not good visibility into the functioning of the device. I get that sometimes things just don’t work but the support options for a $600 product should be better. I am really not looking forward to reboxing for a return if that is what this comes to.”
“I’m thrilled to have found and purchased Leo’s Loo Too litter box. No one wanted the chore of scooping the old one out because who would? The old litter box was gross. Kitty managed to shoo so much litter out of the box that the surround area began to look like a beach. Endless vacuuming and the smell was beyond unpleasant. Leo’s Loo is a lifesaver! The cat is fascinated by it and adjusted to the Loo in about 24 hours. The trick was in using the same litter she was used to. It’s not clay based as recommended. We didn’t want to have the dusty mess of clay litter and use Worlds Best which works just fine with Leo’s Loo Too. The loo is quiet when running and changing the bag out of the tray is a breeze. I highly recommend giving this a shot unless you’re a weirdo and actually like scooping litter.”
“Great machine, I replaced a 20+ year old litter robot, much quieter, at first I had a lot of questions, used the email contact info and would get a reply same day, some within a couple hours, the litter mat that’s supplied works very well, there app is ok but not really necessary, I have owned it now about 4 weeks, I have3 grown cats that use it regularly, I’ll be keeping mine. Great litter box , should have purchased one much sooner”
“We started out using the first generaion of the Leo's Loo and had some issues there. Chewy and Smarty Pear were great to work with during the return process. I was hesistant to try out the upgraded version, but I am impressed! The design is much sleeker, the drawer slides in and out a ton smoother, super quiet while cleaning, bigger waste drawer with no clips! Both cats adjusted rather quickly to both boxes. The smell of the box is sometimes noticable, but nothing more than a traditional box. I generally just empty the waste drawer and that solves the issue. My sweet little kitten LOVED the box so much, she would just go and lay inside, ha! I do add a cup or 2 of fresh litter once I empty the waste drawer just so there is enough litter to keep the bladder clean. So far, we are happy with the Leo's Loo Too!”
