“I ordered size L to start with, as my dog is a curler and the diameter is larger than a lot of his beds. Due to the construction of the cave, he was unable to turn around once inside, so I needed the XL. As the website states that exchanges are no problem, I followed the link to initiate an exchange, only to find out, after many emails, that Snoozer do not have the facility to exchange. Their “exchange” consists of returning the original item at your own expense (tracking required), which costs at least £8.50 and place a new separate order for the new item. So you will always be out of pocket. Snoozer are impossible to get hold of via telephone and do not return your call when you leave a message on the answering machine. Although I (and my dog) love the cave, I would suggest you only place your order once you’re sure of the exact size/item you need as it will be very costly otherwise. Quite woeful for a luxury brand - shame as the cave is very luxurious and so well padded inside that my dog disappears inside it”
“The dogs love it - well one does. She was sleeping in it within 20 mins of having it. The other Dachshund isn't too bright. She prefers to sleep on top of it”
“Very disappointing my dog finds it impossible to get into on wooden floor as it just slips so he ends up lying on top which defeats the object and makes for a very expensive standard bed which is probably not as comfortable”
“Great bed - perfect for dogs that feel the cold at night. Would just have liked a medium size for my spaniel, as the large rather swamps her. It would be almost big enough for two. Yet the small is for toy size dogs.
Why no medium size option?”
