“This chain was extremely cute on the site so, I had to get it. When I got it, it wasn't as cute as I had though. The linking between each star is very similar to a flat jewelry climp. That link is both tight and lose, tight because it holds onto the stars, loose because it can (and will definitely) move around the points of the stars. This is devalued the functionality and overall look of the chain, because every time I tried attaching other bits to it with jump rings, the stars will rotate and change the overall look. If the linking was less flat + more stationary, then this would've gotten a higher rating (since it would be much more appealing in crafts, cause otherwise you'll have lopsided stars hanging un-uniformly or stuck together). I suggest only attaching other bits to the clasp and not the chain itself, or removing the chain and using it as a long fly-away chain for a planner charm (which is what I'm doing soon). It is a worth-it buy if you are not going to attach anything to the star links themselves.
Overall: the look 8/10, general functionality 5/10, using as a base chain 3/10, customization 4/10, material 4/10.”
