I do love the idea of this mold and it took me forever to figure out how to use it. 1. Add the resin over the swirl you want. 2. Scrape the excess off the mold, just leave resin in the swirl crevaces. Don't scrape too hard, it will come out of the mold where you want it. 3. Cure 4. Be slow and gentle with removing it from the mold, it is very fine and thin. 5. Add it to your project how you want. Another way to think of it, is like it's a nail art stamper, without the stamper. You do the scraping with a flat tool, or card.

I got these to make inclusions to use for other resin projects. They are very finicky and difficult to get to demold correctly. The molds themselves appear well made but I wouldn't recommend them for beginners

I've had this mold in my stash and had NO idea how to use it. Today I'm scrolling through the S&T site because shopping, and I see the photos of how this was used to create hemispheres. Well, now I know what I'm supposed to do with this! I'm laughing at myself, really, because my mind never went there, and from the other two reviews, I'm not alone. Looking forward to using this as it was intended!

I’m still not sure what to do with this or how to use it. I made some swirls, but since the “molds” are mostly flat, the resin went over all four swirls and then I had to cut them them apart. I don’t know how to make them into what’s in the picture (which I think is very misleading).

The swirl is fine but the description says this was a shiny mold, and it is definitely not. It has a lot of texture to it so not sure if it is just bad luck or what. The back side is very smooth, but not the side with the actual swirls. I will definitely be trying it out to see if it works for what I want.
