“I have always really struggled with my period, and have turned towards birth control on and off for 20+ years now because that and surgery were the options given to me. I didn't even know having my period could be this easy of an experience without taking BC. Honestly, writing this makes me emotional. The girls that get it, get it. And it doesn't need to be that way and taking hormone pills that cause a whole host of terrible symptoms shouldn't be the first thing offered to us!
