“I ordered an initial shipment, and everything went fine. I received the product, which was fine. I subsequently ordered a second month's worth of gummies, and, despite shipping confirmations from both USPS AND DHL (which is it?), the shipment never made it to me. When I inquired with Soul, the customer service rep told me to "ask my family," "ask my neighbors," "ask my mail carrier," and, if all else failed, to file a police report. A friggin' POLICE REPORT. For a missing package. Stunningly, I receive packages several times a week from other retailers without incident.
What should have been the tell was the fact that when I ordered the second shipment, there was an "offer" to "insure" my purchase. I declined to pay that additional $3 or whatever it was since I was already 1) paying for the item and 2) paying shipping and handling for the item. Soul should be capable of shipping a product from point A to point B without scamming its customers to pay an additional "insurance fee". When I personally ship something to someone, if I am concerned about the security of the delivery, I, as the sender, have the option to insure it. I do not charge my intended recipient for said insurance.
This whole transaction and how they handled it feels very suspect. I have demanded a refund for the product not received, and I canceled my subscription immediately. I can find gummies that are just as good or better locally, and I won't get ripped off.
