“Well designed product and the book of songs is good. Kids (age 6 and 3) enjoy playing it and it’s an easy way to help them to understand music. The 6 year old likes being able to play the songs himself. The main reason I don’t rate it higher is the fact that it’s battery operated rather than being plug-in or rechargeable. It’s expensive to keep buying batteries and also doesn’t seem very environmentally friendly. I also think the monthly books are expensive at £10 per month”

Hi Anna, Thanks for your review. That's a very good point about batteries (though you can use rechargeable batteries). We're looking at possibly making Soundbops with mains power operation in the future, but we want it to be accessible to all children, even in places where the electricity supply is inconsistent, and portable. We know £9.99 a month can be expensive, but for that you get a real printed book, full access to the Soundbops app and regular free gift surprises. We hope to be able to reduce that price-point at some point. The Soundbops Team
