“As a live music photographer I've tried my fair share of earplugs over the years from the cheap ones that serve their purpose but affect the sound quality to the more expensive ones with filters that allow better clarity. The minuendos sit at the more expensive side but first impressions suggest that they are worth the investment. The choice of soft fittings ensures both a good and comfortable fit is easily achieved. Having shot both arena and club gigs with these now I've found the adjustable dials to be very good from having them full on in the pit and easing off when further back with excellent sound clarity throughout. The dials do seem a little delicate and are tricky adjusting when in the ear but I feel this is just a case of getting used to them. The supplied cleaner is handy and the case is good quality and stores them comfortably with the strap on. Time will tell on the durability bit a month and a bit in, I'm happy with them and would recommend to anyone who wants to protect their hearing without compromising on sound clarity.”
