I checked many reviews before taking the plunge to buy these (they are very expensive by South African standards). Everything that was said is accurate and delivered as promised. They really do what they say on the box. As a gigging musician, I have used these in the practice room, in theatre shows with massive sound, small venues with amps at relatively low levels, and most recently with a wedding band. In all the situations they outperformed all the previous ear protection that I have had, including moulded earplugs with set filters. Granted, ear protection may not be as developed here, but these are hands down better than anything else I've used, and performing with them is a pleasure and simple. Very happy!

This is the best passive ear protection solution on the market. I've tried all the other passive earplugs and they block all the highs and muffle the rest of the sound spectrum. Prior to the Minuendos I was using Etymotic active protection. Also, a great product but more than twice the cost of Minuendos and I had to change batteries after each rehearsal or gig. The Minuendos are clear and comfortable and I can hear everything. And normal conversation between the music sounds natural. Highly recommended!

Because of significant hearing loss I wear hearing aides in both ears. I had to quit the band I was in because the only way I could keep in time was with my hearing aides in, and likewise destroying what little hearing I had left. After seeing an ad on line for Minuendo, I figured I’d give them a shot. With these ear plugs I’m back in the band! I can keep the noise level down where I’m not noticing any after effects with my hearing while still having the ability to hear everyone else and keep time. Keep in mind, I can’t converse with my bandmates between songs because of my hearing loss. but to still be able to play without hurting myself is incredible, and I thank you !

Overall I’m really happy with the hearing protection and peace of mind I get from these, no deafening ringing in the ears after a jam. I do think you lose some frequencies with these in but they are definitely better than straight ear plugs. I would recommend these to anyone looking to protect their hearing with multiple use cases from jamming to attending concerts or loud jobs.

Since suffering sudden tinnitus in my right ear in late 2020, my Mineuendos have been THE solution. Whether playing guitar at home, or getting back to concerts they've been vital. Really, they're the difference between being able to enjoy concerts, and just not going anymore. Controlling the level individually allows me to protect both ears, and give the fragile right ear just a bit more protection. Wonderful stuff. I've recommended to several musichead friends that are also battling tinnitus.

They work well reducing volume without too much muffling or distortion. They are very small, which is good in one way, but a bit fiddly to adjust. I play violin in a classical chamber group and too much volume sets off a problem with tinnitus and this product seems to prevent that (which is the reason I bought it).
