“The vibration feels too spread out and elongated to where it doesn't actually give a sense of precision in syncing with the metronome - even despite the different settings it offers. The Soundbrenner icon/logo takes up most of the face/space while the text is quite small to focus on, especially if you're trying to glance at it. The tuner is kind of useless, as I'll never use an adhesive on a higher quality or vintage instrument. The battery kills out far faster than I would like, so it has to be recharged quite often. Overall this weirdly feels like a mixture of a product that is already outdated while utilizing some very clever concepts that are ahead of the market. And the button-like design for the leather strap fasten points is poor and arrived damaged, likely from the struggle to fit it on. That being said, the leather itself is extremely nice. The overall construction is sturdy and satisfying. The unit is easily removed and replaced to the strap in with a secure magnetic fit. The synced notifications update on the new firmware is clever and useful. The original concept of tapping the face for the tempo is smart. The bluetooth connectivity was a smart move for the app compatibility. The ability to customize a setlist is smart. But in the end I just don't use it that much, for the first reasons I gave. It iust sits. I really tried to put it through the paces, but ai just don't find it useful, and in many ways, it throws off the tightness of my playing rather than honing it. I use the Soundbrenner app pretty frequently though.”

“The weight can be a bit off balancing so I like to wear something on the opposite wrist now. Love the magnetic tuner (probably the most useful thing on there). The metronome is a bit weak when on the wrist but more useful strapped to other areas. I was disappointed with the lack of notifications BUT that was rectified in the last firmware update. Good work.”
