You can't beat it (pun intended). Love the ability to use this in so many ways. I've used it attached to my arm, my leg and even in a pocket to feel the rhythm works best for me. When used with the App it is logical and simple to operate and use. Its a time saver! (yes, another pun)

As a piano teacher, I've been waiting for a haptic metronome for ages. I always thought, it would be the ultimate way to teach timing and rhythm. And indeed, it comes out that the Soundbrenner Pulse is that big help even for difficult students. So I'm happy now having this instrument in my hands. One of my students has ordered one for herself now.

It works exactly as advertised and as I had hoped. I’ve used it many times over the past month while recording music for my Youtube channel (Shameless Covers By Puerco - https://youtube.com/channel/UC1N7-m-Ser1O3W8oZ5tdmpw). I have discovered one small feature that would make this perfect if added, and that is the ability to toggle the light…if I wear it on my wrist while playing in dark or low light it’s a strobe in my eyes…fortunately, I’ve gotten used to it on the right ankle…works great, long battery life, easy to manipulate without seeing it using just fingers. Well done! Puerco

Dear Sirs: The only disadvantage to your product is: ...I wish you had invented it about 60 years ago when I started on guitar! I have never been able to tolerate the clicking sound of a typical metronome....until NOW. Thanks for a much-needed remedy to an old problem. Now, all I need is a time machine! Sincerely, Russ Mallory

My Soundbrenner Pulse has been a real godsend! Having always struggled with a steady beat the Pulse has made an amazing difference in my playing by eliminating having to process a traditional metronome's (often distracting) ticks & tocks and allowing me to focus on the sound of my music (piano in my case). Further, the Pulse makes getting back on the beat much easier and not so confusing, which in turn yields a smooth and uninterrupted flow to what I'm playing, which in turn makes practice/playing more fun and enjoyable. This is, of course, what we all hope for when we start on our musical journeys, so many thanks to the folks at Soundbrenner for their wonderful product!

PROs - The vibration is very strong. I was hesitant to buy after reading reviews about people losing the vibration during playing. They must've had it on over a wool sweater and/or hit their drums like a blacksmith. I strap it to my left bicep and I don't know how you could not feel this thing. - Ability to make load set lists in the app is nice. CONs - I definitely felt the click 'skip' a few times. I wasn't playing - just sitting and getting locked in to the click over a few bars. There was no audio and it was connected over Bluetooth to my phone. Click, click, click, clickclick .....Click. I immediately lost trust in it. I can't have a click that gets off time. It completely defeats the purpose. - I CANNOT seem to get the audible and tactile click to line up. I've messed with delay setting, millisecond by millisecond, and it never lined up. I gave up and just use the vibrating part. Overall, I still use it. Just not like I intended. Now I use it to get the song tempos, click them off to the band, and then largely ignore the click while I'm playing since I cant trust if I'm off or the click just skipped again.

I've struggled with nerves when playing an open mic. In fact, just practicing at home by myself I tend to speed up as a song goes along. I don't like the usual online metronomes, so I ordered a Pulse. This is the best solution so far for me. The gentle thumping really talks to me. I'm very pleased and can already see an improvement in my timing.
