“Well, it works. I was hoping for something that would only vibrate because I hate the sound of a metronome. But this makes a little more noise than I want, even at the quietest setting. But, as I say, it works, and I'm using it. And I suppose I'll get used to the noise.”
“In the beginning a bit getting used to it. But after a very short while the rhythm is felt and what is bizarre that you kinda get in tempo without really noticing. It is very intuitive! Great product!”
“I love the tough look on the Pulse, an It's great to feel the beat on the body instead of a click from my DAW or manuel metronone.
It took a couple of tries before i got used to follow Pulse while playing piano, but now it feels very natural.
Also, the pulse and app (android) is very user friendly.”
“Pros: It's a well designed and cool looking product and I like the concept of sensing the beat instead of hearing the beat.
Cons: It takes too many steps to use compared to a conventional metronome (turn on the Pulse, get my iPhone and launch the app, dial in the metronome setting, start the Pulse... I would be more likely to use it more if there was a display on Pulse so I could use it as a stand alone device. Also, it's a bit louder than expected. Is that just the sound of the vibrating motor? It kind of defeats the purpose of it not making a noise like a conventional metronome.”
“I love how I can use this metronome while playing the organ. Much of the time, at full organ, I can't hear a metronome, but I can definitely feel this on my wrist.”
“The device is cumbersome, the wrist band should be easier to put on, In order to feel the pulsing I have to set it to the highest level at which the buzzing sound is as loud as a metronome. Timing is a little erratic. It may work for some but for me I just couldn't get used to it.”
