“Great !!! I use it with geeat pleasure. I play percussion ilke tambourella, kanjira and use my right hand. So I put it on my left arm and feel the vibration better. The strength of the vibration can be a little stronger but still I highly recommend it.”
“A great investment and it's definitely improving my playing.
It took little time to get used to the pulse against the skin, and I would seem to 'lose' it when playing - don't stare at the light to re-find it, that way lies hallucinations! After a few days it became easy to sync into. I've experimented with various positions and finally settled on inside the upper arm. The skin there is more sensitive I guess and when I 'lose' it I can bring my upper arm against the body and really feel it.
The app (not necessary to use it) is straight-forward. I've had lags between the phone audio and the pulse, so I only use the app to set the time signature and tempo.”
“The Soundbrenner Pulse is a phenomenal tool for Musicians from Beginners to Masters. As a Aspiring Bass player Time keeping is an essential part of playing Bass. The Soundbrenner Pulse allows a person to sync there playing with the pulse and keep perfect timing. I recommend that every musician get one so that the entire band can be synched in time with each other”
“I love this product, i have a Mr Beat as well but the Soundbrenner is small, powerful, easy to charge, lasts for hours, easy to transport and easy to use and adjust timing between songs on stage and in the studio, i am a rock drummer and play heavy, it suites my needs brilliantly, i highly recommend this product for keeping time for all drummers”
“I don't use it as much as I hoped I would. I bought it on faith that the pulse would be strong and sharp enough to feel as I play, but as I am a metal drummer, my level of physical activity as I drum is so great that it renders the vibrations nearly impossible to perceive. Perhaps it would work better with the chest strap because all four of my limbs are in so much motion I can't feel the vibration on my wrist or ankle, but I hesitate to spend more money just to maybe get it to work. If I played sparse, mellow shoegaze music I think it'd be fine but if you move much when you play, the physical sensation of the metronome disappears and becomes impossible to follow.”
