“It's tempting to keep this pedal on all the time because of the way it enhances tone. I first used it with a practice amp, which was not great because the massive boost nearly blew it out of the room. But with a 30 watt combo it does more than you'd expect, from a fairly clean boost to a dirty one. There are 34 Db to play with. If using humbuckers they will get a nice high end brightness from the up position of the toggle and single coils will often benefit from a 4K cut off at the bottom. Middle position of the toggle in my opinion is where the tone is enhanced best in the mid range.”
