“It gives a very authentic Selmer Oval; hole sound. The tone is very different froma flat top acoustic like a Dreadnought. It is much drier, louder and shorter sustain with the volume balance across the strings being very different (the top strings are louder in a gypsy guitar). I am not sure about the open pore finish on the laminated rosewood back and sides.”
