“A rotary speaker sound is dificult to capture. In mono it really is just an odd phasey chorus type of thing. In stereo into two amps (I have tried into a super reverb reissue and a 5e3 tweed deluxe clone) it is OK and much more 3 dimensional. In the shop I preferred the Boss RT20 to a used strymon lex in mono..not sure I made the right decision. Maybe a bit better for Dave Gilmour type sounds mixed with a straight amp than say SRV Vibratone or Cream-era Clapton Leslie sounds. So maybe not a classic forever pedal, but not a useless one either if used in stereo...but I wouldnt use in mono. The built in overdrive is horrible...so I dont use it.”
