Description LASER 1 OPAQUE 8.5" x 11" transfer papers from Neenah Coldenhove are designed for both oil and oil-less laser printers for the heat transfer of high-resolution photographs and images to dark t-shirts, sweatshirts, mouse pads, coasters, puzzles, handbags, binders, pad folios, paper, leather, magnets, wood veneer and more. “I have been using this product for some years now. Here are some comments and tips: Be careful when you pull up/separate the print vinyl from the backing paper. You can potentially scratch some of the ink off of the vinyl side, then creating some white scratches that will show up when you press the vinyl. With that said, I would suggest cutting up a sheet multiple times and practice separating the vinyl top from the backing. This will help you when you are working with the printed product. Do a few test presses to figure out your pressure and length of press. If you press too long or your pressure is too much, you have the chance of burning the paper, and your product will look like its been a bit scorched in the sun. Great product! Just fine tune it to your setup.”

“When I first tried this I couldn't get it to work. But I made some printer adjustments (set paper to cardstock) and learned how to carefully separate from the backing paper and it has worked really well. It has even held up to several washings. The thickness of the transfer is on par with vinyl. But it's much better the cracking inkjet transfers.”

“It took a couple of sheets to get the settings just right but it was well worth it. It doesn't curl while placing it on the press and the colors remain nice and vibrant.”
