Turtle of Life is the original painting by 13-year-old Sheyleace Stevens, a proud Indigenous artist from the Dunghutti people from Birpai land in Port Macquarie. The Turtle of Life range has been produced in collaboration with Spencil, with a full suite of special products for school and play, for kids to use and love! Turtle of Life was inspired by the natural surroundings and sea-life of Burpai land. As for ‘using a brand for status’, it’s everything we are not. We have intentionally reduced the size and shifted the position of our Spencil badge to make it less prominent. It’s our reminder to ourselves about what we will never want to be.
