“This will be the 3rd time I've bought forest ranger wellies. I never bought a pair last winter for the young fella because mummy liked the look of a pair of barbour wellie boots, she'd seen out on one of her shopping trips. Living in the Isle of Man, it rains a lot so the young fella lives in them throughthe winter. No more then usual last year. Coming into spring we were out on one of our usual walk, in one of our forests this time. Almost at the end of the walk before turning around and heading back to the motor he starts saying he's heel is sore. I take his boot off, thinking there'll be a stone or something in there. No there wasn't. All the inside lining of his barbour wellies had ripped and balled up at the bottom of his boot and started rubbing his heel, coursing a blister. Tried to pull the lining out so he could wear them for the walk back to the van, I couldn't get my hand in the boot enough to pull it out. Doooomed I thought, and I was. I had to carry him on my back for miles, it felt like. This is why I've bought Spotty Otter Forest Ranger Wellies again. I've never had a problem with them the only reason I've had to buy more is because he out grows them and I never want to experience carrying a 5 year old for miles on my back again because of badly made wellies.”
