“Very Good valve. However, according to code, make sure that the valve is installed, at least 6 inches, above the highest sprinkler. Otherwise, the sprinkler water will contaminate the potable water line. Since our sprinklers are on an elevated planters ground, we had to raise the valve 3 feet on a riser to meet the above condition. Of course we had to support the riser, so it would not wobble. If the valve is installed at a lower level than the sprinkler, the valve would eventually leak. This Irritrol 311A 0.75" anti-siphon valve is well made and will last for many years with no problems.”

“I have an old Rainbird Sprinkler system and the Solenoids I have are no longer made. This part was a perfect replacement. I actually have 2 now. Easy to install and adjust. Very quick shipping on both orders as well. Will definitely order from Sprinkler Supply Store again”
