“My sprinklers have been leaking for some time now, I have replaced the heads, changed out the sprinkler bodies, etc. Then turned my focus to the #2 valve. Changed out a few parts and the heads continued to leak. So I decided to replace the Hunter 1 1/2" diaphragm and thought I tackled the problem. Nope, still leaking. So I removed the cover and dug down around the valve and found out the dirt was wet. Water was leaking out of the bottom of the valve. So now I just ordered a new Hunter 1 1/2" ICV Valve. The last one was installed in June 1013. All the other valves are working fine. Hope this cures the problem. So now I have an extra diaphragm, for spare parts, in the future.
