“I've been using 5000 series for a couple years, they are solid, dependable and easy to adjust and work on. I installed some for my own use (normally its for customers and finnaly installed for myself) and my wife hit the top with a lawn mower, the rubber cap got mangled but I popped it back on and its still going (don't ask me how she hit it. :-) )”

“I needed to replace 24 Nelson rotor heads in my daughters yard because they would not retract after watering. I was impressed with the amount of threading on the Rain Bird body compared to the single thread on the Hunter PGP body. The swap out was easy, and the adjustment of the Rain Bird is very simple. I'm not knocking Hunter PGP's because that's what I've had in my yard for the past 6 years, but they do need more seal repairs than I think they should. I'm going to watch the Rain Birds in my daughters yard to see how they handle the seal issues. By the way, my order arrived in just 2 days and I couldn't be happier with the service from Sprinkler Supply Store!!”
