“I bought Efficient-Fittings in an effort to make it easier to move a sprinkler head. When I pressure tested the final installation the rotary sprinkler would not work, water only dribbled out. The sprinkler used was a pressure regulatated rotary, (I20-06-SS-PRB). In order to rectify the situation I had to put a 3/4" to 1/2" reducer on the sprikler body, then screw the Efficient-Fitting to that. (Thinking about it as I write this, I could have cut off the 1/2" section of the Efficient-Fitting) I have seen videos of these fittings working without modification on a Hunter rotary body where the attached 1/2" section was not an issue. They were not, however, pressure regulated sprinkler bodies. Be aware of the interaction between this fitting and the sprinkler body you choose to use.”
