“The installation instructions show how to attach to the controller. However, my controller is in my garage and there were no instructions how to attach to the wires in the outside valve box. A call to customer service didn't help so the sensor is not yet activated.”

Hi David, thanks for your review. The RAINCLIK is meant to connect directly to your controller and would not work connected to the wires in your valve box. It sounds as though the wired version might not work for you due to the location of your controller. “This sensor was easy to install. The in package instructions and on line instructions are easy to understand. One word of wisdom. Make sure that when you are testing follow the instructions, because if you don't test the way the institutions say it will not turn off the way it's supposed to and you will think you incorrectly wired up the sensor.”

“Easy to install, comes with everything you need. I mounted my sensor to a fence post with ease with the supplied screws. The wiring was plenty long enough and east to attach to the control box.”

“I ordered the incorrect item and I needed to return it. My first thoughts of having to call were not so good I wasn't looking forward to being transferred from one associate to another, havint to pay a restocking fee which more than likely would be at least a quarter or half the price of the item I was returning. I was very surprised that a nice lady named Kathy answered the phone on the second ring. Her voice was very pleasant, she didn�۪t sound as though she had just arrived at work and was ready to make my life miserable for calling her. Kathy listened as I explained my situations and without hesitation referred to her computer and reviewed my order. Kathy immediately sent a return authorization to my inbox. Once that transaction was complete Kathy assisted me in ordering the necessary part that I needed. I�۪ll be coming back to the SprinklerSupplyStore.com for all my irrigation, lighting, and landscaping needs.”
