“I only gave this villa a 4* which should be a 5* we loved the home and location everything and everyone one was superb. The draw back was the beds and linens. They were so old and dingy and kept falling off exposing disgusting moldy mattresss. All of us complained about back and neck aches. The pillows were so old and flat and hard. It was worse than even a hotel 6. We’ve stayed at many villas before and always had luxury bedding. Did not make sense. LOVED the villa so much thou”
“The house was clean and modern. Beautiful view of the water from the house and covered terrace. However, there is no view of the sand and waves of the beach, and when sitting by the pool, all views of the water are blocked by the large stone retaining wall. One must stand or be on the covered terrace for a view of the water.
The pool and “jacuzzi” are not heated, which we expected for $1500/night. There is a single small, immovable pool umbrella, so there is no shade by the pool. After days baking in the sun, some shade is needed. The pool/beach towels were simply the small thin bath towels in a different color.
No beach chairs or umbrella are available, which we found odd for a home situated on the beach.
There were stains on multiple towels and the master bedroom sheets.
This home is perfect for those seeking a modern home with views of the water from inside the home. It’s not suitable for those seeking to enjoy the views from the pool after spending time on the beach.
We’ve stayed in multiple homes in Terres Basses. We’ll be going back to our tried and true, less expensive home with better amenities (beach chairs/umbrella, large fluffy pool towels, heated pool, 180 degrees of beach views).”
