“Gorgeous pool, view, decor......all bedrooms are principal suites. Many beautiful and comfortable outdoor spaces. Terrific housekeeping service. It is even better in person than in the pictures.”

“Overall this house looks good in pictures but upon arriving there we found out that there were several issues with the house -the refrigerator freezer not only doesn’t work but leaks water on the kitchen floor daily so we kept a towel in the floor to ensure that no one slipped. We did have access to a smaller refrigerator that had a working freezer.
The wi-fi in the house is inadequate for 8 people living in the house especially when you don’t have anything but steaming available in all bedrooms so when everyone is trying to watch tv in their room the tv buffers continuously making it very difficult to watch television.
It was very unpleasant to deal with the iguanas pooping in the pool daily and then having no access to the pool when the filter stopped working.
Some of towels in the rooms were threadbare with holes. The sheets were so old that the elastic for the fitted sheet would not stay on the mattress.
The maid service was terrible. Everyday she came in sweeper and mopped the common areas, then she started on the bedrooms. Half the time she didn’t put enough clean towels in the rooms, bathroom mirror was always streaked. Everyday she left towels/sheets in both the washer and dryer along with a pile of dirty linen to start the next day making difficult for 4 couples to utilize the laundry. A couple of times she left up the portable clothes line with wet towels on it making access to the trash can and smaller refrigerator in the laundry room hard to get to so we folded the towels once dry and put it away.
We have had such great experiences in the past Villas we have stayed at, this home was very disappointing.”
“The Villa Giselle is a beautiful villa, not far from Plum Bay. All of the rooms are nice (and the same). However, we were not satisfied with the housekeeping and the kitchen was lacking.”
“No A/C in the main part of the home only the bedrooms. The Satellite TV Service is only in the family room. TV's in bedrooms require you having a streaming service to view. Refrigerator was broken no freezer. Gas stove is fueled by propane only 2 burners worked. Definitely not a gourmet kitchen. Ironing board was broken. Towels had holes and were hard and crunchy. Housekeeping service was a joke. A 5 yr old could make a bed better. The laundry room was inaccessible due to being left with dirty towels and sheets each day by housekeeper. Iguanas used the pool each day for their toilet. Pool pump broke during stay. No spa just smaller attached pool. Mosquitoes are very intense. Surround sound system was not operable. Outdoor speakers inoperable. No intercom or camera service to access gate for guests. Very poor maintenance at this Villa. Don't waste your money.”
