“ENCORE IS AMAZING - but DO NOT RENT FROM ST. MARTIN BLUE. Our group would rate Encore Villa 5 out of 5 stars. The concierge service we experieced through St. Martin Blue was truly horrible, from the level of responsiveness to either the lack of ability to set anything up on the island or the lack of willingness to do so. Regardless - St. Martin Blue did not add any value, other than providing a lovely website and a booking engine. Once we arrived on the island, our experience was wonderful. The on-island concierge service, provided by Sotheby's St. Martin, was fabulous. This was our second time renting Villa Encore in St. Martin. We love Encore. It is a great size for several families and has a large pool. The villa is absolutely beautiful, with a well stocked kitchen and is well maintained. The location is ideal in Terres Basses, as it provides privacy but also easy access to stores, restaurants, beaches, etc. The only complaint we had about the villa during our 6 night stay was the fact that we didn't have direct access to a washer and dryer. But - the housekeeper graciously washed any and all laundry we asked her to wash during our stay. We will definitely return to Encore again in the future.”

“The house was gorgeous. We loved almost everything about it. Just a few minor issues that I mention for the owner/management purposes in case they are looking to improve to perfection! Again our stay was magnificent and just a few small mentions.....1) the water dispenser on the fridge did not work and the ice stopped working mid-week. We still had ice it just wasn't dispensing from the fridge door. 2) The barbeque is the backyard looked dirty (both inside and out) and like it hadn't been serviced in quite a while. This was a letdown as we love to BBQ and would have used it several times during our stay. This didn't ruin our great time but for the price we paid for the week, I would have thought the BBQ would have been cleaned after each stay. 3) Access to laundry, I didn't realize we wouldn't have full access to the washer/dryer throughout our stay. But only when the housekeeper was on the premises. I would have packed more if I'd known this. We will definitely look to stay here again on our next trip to St Martin.”
“The Encore was AMAZING! We celebrated our 20 anniversary here with a group of 10. The pictures on the website does this place no justice. Encore was beautiful and clean and very spacious. The grounds were beautiful and the pool was huge and amazing! Our daily concierge Alex was very nice, he checked in daily on me and my group and our house keeper Merline was great!!! Can’t wait to return.”
“Overall, Encore was beautiful, particularly the pool and the kitchen. There was an unfortunate cigarette smoke in most of the suites in the villa. Apparently the owners smoke. This should have been taken care of before our arrival but instead had to be dealt with while we were staying there. There were a few minor maintenance issues that arose while we were there, but all were handled quickly and easily. Our housekeeper Marlene was wonderful! The living room areas were big and roomy, if a little dated. But every aspect of the house was very comfortable.”
