“Lune De Miel is a nice little 2 bedroom rental. Two serarate private bedrooms suites each with a full bathroom . The bedrooms are connected by a cozy living room and kitchen with outdoor dinning area. The outside living space features a pool and multiple lounging areas. Theresa provided excellent housekeeping and was virtually invisible.”
“Hi Eddie, we returned from St. Martin last night and overall we had a great time. However we do have some complaints - understand this is a lengthy list and I'm sure you don't have control over all of it but we felt that with the money we spent, some things must be addressed.
Pool issues: rusting on pool tiles in several places, waterfall feature broken with weeds growing out of it, large area of pool bottom missing with sharp edges and tiles falling off everywhere, no skimmer. Pool man came twice and it wasn't apparent he actually did anything. He also emptied the pool filters right onto the patio and left dead bugs / detritus. This should've been cleaned up and swept away.
Grounds: lawn severely overgrown, weeds clearly present by pool area, hasn't been touched or managed in quite some time.
No map of the island provided for first timers, no interesting things to see / do (lack of local advice / knowledge - where to eat, etc.)
Lack of utensils, lack of decent knives, no baking sheet(s)
Nothing for the kids - blankets, pillows, etc. - Property Ink was well aware 3 babies were coming
Only 1 house key (front door) on one of the set of keys - no one told us how to use the gate, we had to figure out for ourselves that the 2 dot button on the remotes was for the gate.
Linens are seriously lacking, towels have holes, are frayed - lack of clean towels provided when cleaner came
(2) Mosquito devices do nothing
Website says daily maid service, however the cleaner asked when we wanted her to come (we said every other day is fine but the question shouldn’t even be asked) On Monday 5/15, the cleaner didn’t touch the other bedroom. Didn’t make the bed, turned off the a/c, left a black bucket with weird liquid in it, no fresh towels. We paid for the entire house, why wasn't that side of the home cleaned?
No beach chairs or umbrella for the pool offered
All shampoo/ conditioner/ bath gel bottles in both showers were either empty or all filled with the same liquid water combination - not 'locally made st. martin nectar’ as quoted on the bottles”
“The villa was great. Everything worked. The pool was great. And after we explained we were on an anniversary trip and craved privacy, the housekeeper very graciously left us alone. Only the pool guys showed up unannounced. We had a very restful, relaxing, and romantic week. We would definitely rent this property again.”
“Overall a great house - the kitchen isn't very well equipped (blender doesn't work and coffee machine was cracked). Felt like the house needed some general upkeep (cracked pool and rust) but the layout was good for 2 couples (very private) and view was fantastic and gardens were nice!”
“We loved every minute of our stay at Lune de Miel villa! The house was extremely clean, and the concierge was helpful for everything we needed. The indoor/outdoor kitchen, shaded outdoor porch areas, and pool were our favorites. Other bonuses were reliable and fast internet, blackout shades for sleeping, and plenty of great water pressure for showering. The house is an 10 minute easy walk to the beach or a quick drive. If we come back to the island, I look forward to staying here again.”
