So——put a splash of balsamic condimente along with the cherry and bourbon and guess what, I invented a new drink. Slightly sweeter than a normal manhattan, slightly different taste but very pleasant, almost like using a smokey bourbon. If someone wants an old fashion that would work also as you just add a little simple syrup! Who knew?”
