“I really enjoy the durability of this tool. The heads are quite sharp but protected by the plastic edge. They require very little pressure yet still provide a great exfoliating treatment. I love that the blades are recyclable and the handle is reusable. So efficient. I will continuously purchase replacement heads.”

“I’ve had severe cystic acne since I turned 16. Now that I’m headed into my 30’s, it has subsided significantly, but years of insecurity led to the horrible habit of picking and I’ve been left with so much scarring, uneven texture and hyperpigmentation. Since I‘ve started using the Dermaplane Tool, I’ve noticed SO many changes.
1. SIGNIFICANT decrease in recurring cystic acne.
2. My skin feels smoother, not as rough, and my makeup application looks flawless.
3. Some of my scarring has actually started to fade and my dark spots look lighter.
4. I’ve learned more about how my acne is activated specifically because I can now SEE all the junk my pores would be clogged with would I not be exfoliating it away. “The blade on this tool is much sharper than those on other, disposable tools I have tried. I nicked myself on the first use, as it requires very little pressure compared with other blades. I am really impressed with how easily this cuts the hair. I love the sturdy metal handle, which is a bit larger and easier to grip than disposables. It feels like a real tool that I can have for years. My primary reason for purchase was to reduce waste, as only the blades need to be replaced. The jump in quality certainly justifies the additional cost. Dermaplaning has made my skin brighter and allows my skincare products to reach my skin instead of absorbing into peach fuzz. My makeup goes on so much better. I am excited to see if I experience even more improvement now that I have a superior quality tool.”

“I first found this product after telling my friend about a recent trip to Jamaica, in which I got mascara in my eyes after going into the water. She asked why I would have mascara on at the beach, at which point I told her I wear a face full of makeup at the beach. Although that has always been my norm, I realize for most people it is not, and the reason I have always immediately applied makeup as soon as I get out of the shower is because my skin has always been very uneven (dark spots, scars, etc) I don't even like my husband seeing me without makeup. I have tried chemical peels and laser lightening to no avail.
I heard about derma-planning and thought about going to a med spa to have this done since it was the one thing I haven't tried. Then I thought 'why go have it done if I can do it myself? It can't be that hard.' I did a Google search for tools and the Stacked Skincare website popped up. With extremely low expectations (based on my history of trying treatments and having minimal results) I gave this tool a whirl. I thought about taking before and after pictures but I truly thought the results would be so minimal that it would be pointless. Now I wish I had.
I can honestly say that this tool far exceeded my expectations and got my skin to a place I did not think I could get. My dark spots have been sloughed off, although they are still there, they are much lighter. My raised scars have been dramatically reduced and my skin is much softer now. I will say that I use this with several products, many from Stacked in addition to 100% silicone gel), but I credit this derma planning tool for making the biggest change because I know my skin wouldn't be where it is without it. I would caution people not to overuse it (initially I had because I was excited) because it will dry out your skin, but if you use it as directed (and be patient!), within a few weeks you should see significant improvement to your skin.
I've read a few reviews in which people feel it is too expensive. I have a couple of thoughts about that: in my experience, you often get what you pay for. You could buy cheaper tools (Kohl's, CVS, etc), but they probably aren't the same quality and won't last. Also, if you have this done at a med spa, you're paying double the price of the tool - per visit!
I know this is a long review but I wanted to be as informative as possible for anyone else who is on the fence and is as skeptical as I was. I am very grateful to have found this skincare line and would definitely, definitely recommend.”
