Hair growth regarding thickness and darkness is impacted by hormone changes only, which is why as we age throughout our lives our natural hair growth levels can change - not by shaving hair.

Are you sure you are using your device correctly holding the tool at 45 degree angle against your skin and holding your skin taut from behind the tool with your other hand? Please also be sure to use this on dry skin without any product on the skin. We recommend beginning at the top of the cheekbone near the hairline, hold your skin taut behind the blade and gently glide the dermaplaning tool towards the nose using short strokes. Dermaplane your face at a 45° angle which is the ideal angle for removing vellus hair (peach fuzz), and most importantly dry dead skin cells. If the blade is less than 45°, it will not be as effective at removing the peach fuzz and dead skin cells. Make sure you dermaplane on a clean dry face to get best results.
