“I first learned about dermaplaning about 5 years ago when I was having it done once a month by an esthetician. I loved how it got rid of so much dead skin but at $100 a visit, I had to stop going.
I was thrilled to find this device so that I could do it at home. I was a little scared at first that I would cut myself but I got the hang of it quickly and have never cut myself.
I do like to wipe my face before using it with rubbing alcohol (learned that from my He esthetician).”

“I bought the Dermaplaning tool because there was a promotion running w/ Temptu partnering w/ Stacked Skincare. I had once been offered by a local aesthetician to have dermaplaning done and she said it "removed peach fuzz". I didn't take her up on it. I have a $9.99 Philips battery-operated woman razor, but only noticed very little hair removal. Didn't experience any other "benefits" from it. Anyway, with the promotion running, I dived into reading through reviews on the dermaplaning tool. I noticed a consistent stream of: "made my skin smoother";"noticeable dead skin removal"... this was one of those tools I didn't go searching for- but glad it found me! My skin is a lot smoother- especially under my chin and it's cool to see what it takes off as you go. And of course, always appreciate a "stamped" beauty award from the experts!”

As you mentioned with your women razor, those and other tools consist of a blade guard not a blade and can therefore be very irritating to the skin and will not remove dead skin and peach fuzz as effectively as our tool!
