I struggled with acne for about 12 years. I have just recently gotten my skin under control (to where I only get a couple of breakouts here and there) but I am left with some acne scarring (the actual texture of my skin, not the red hyper-pigmentation that is sometimes referring to as scarring). When I started using the EGF serum, it was just after that time of the month so my skin was considerably broken out. In the first week, I did notice some very small and superficial pimples that (after writing to the customer service team - who is awesome btw!) I determined were from the serum "purging" my skin. These healed very quickly and left no discoloration on my skin. I also had a bit of peeling, but I think I was using too much product, and that no longer happens. It only been about 2 and a half weeks and I LOVE my skin. I don't think I've ever said that. I have been using the serum alone, but plan on using with the microroller now that I don't have any active acne. I know the actual scarring will take a while to heal, but considering how well this stuff has worked in such a short amount of time I am confident that it will be gone or mostly gone fairly soon.
The only negative thing I can say is that it has a pretty bad smell. However, it doesn't stick around and you shouldn't notice it after a few minutes when it's soaked in. I'm ok with this because whatever is in there that's making it smell like that is also what's making my skin look so great!
I know what it's like to read rave reviews and get your hopes up that you've finally found something that will work. I don't even want to think about how much money I've wasted on products that didn't do what they were supposed to.If you can afford it, take a chance on this product. We do not add fragrance to our EGF Serum. This is done on purpose because fragrances can occasionally lead to negative skin reactions. We‰ЫЄre sorry you find the smell to be somewhat unpleasant, however after a few minutes post application, you will notice the scent dissipates as the active ingredients penetrate into your skin.
