“The firelogs and double vent are beautiful in our fireplace. We added a bit of yellow fireglass around the outside and it reflects the fire. I really wasn't sure I would like them, however my husband was tired of all the mess and getting up to tend the real fire. Now I think they are more beautiful.”

“We needed to replace my gas fireplace log system, because the one we purchased from a big box hardware store kept giving us trouble with the built in pilot system. (Very finicky thermocouple and would not stay lit) I researched the reviews on several and landed on the G45 Series Real Frye fireplace burner pan. We purchased it and the safety pilot kit separately to use with our old fireplace logs. It was easy to install, even with having to move the gas valve connection to the other side of the pan. The burner pan and its accessories (sand, embers, etc.) give off a very nice, realistic flame for my gas logs and good heat. You can light the burner pan with a fireplace match or install a safety pilot kit like we did. Very happy with the purchase so far. We did have to adjust the pilot flame and burner pan embers so that it would not throw out flames that overheated the thermocouple and go off. (Thus the name "safety pilot") Since then it has worked like a charm. Will wait to see if it holds up over time. Very well made, so I am hopeful.”
