“The two inserts I bought are fairly good - flame height could be higher for certain but they are fine. Working with Starfire was a pleasurable experience but I wish they had told me a few things. ie) that the kit did not include plates for mounting the valvue and the spart ignition. So when my installer came he did not have all of the parts he needed. I had to call Starfire and reorder stainless steel plates to put the valvue turn on and ingintor swich through so that the mason could build them into the firepit as without a stell plate they would just awkardly be cemented into the structure with no access to replace or fix. Ditto that for the door to access the gas turn on and shut off. This led to me having to have the mason back and I had to pay for his travel and time twice. Sales could have done a better job here and while pleasant to deal with they did not give me everything I needed to make this a turn key implementation and in my opinion should have asked these questions during the sale.”

“Mounting plate did not work with our Basalite fire pit blocks! Sale rep should have asked what type/size blocks that I was using during the sales process-unhappy with this item, had to go a different route for the gas keys!”
