“The lava rock is indeed small...but it worked well for my vented gas fireplace! I mixed it in with the vermiculite (sp?) and all around the logs on the floor of the fireplace. It looks so much better than just the brick floor. Much improved visuals. Starfire's shipping was prompt and it was a good experience.”

“The fire pit is part of a larger project ( pool side gazebo ) and I just got the brick base and granite top finished so I'm just now ready to get the plumber in to connect me up. I will mention that the ring was a little tilted and the key was to be brass / copper but as this for my personal home, I'm OK with it as I don't have customers to deal with. I only mention this because I've had to send back things for less and that causes scheduling problems.”
