“Very happy with the firepit overall. It was well packaged and delivered in perfect condition. Adjustable feet is a nice touch. Puts out a surprising amount of heat once it warms up. While I have yet to receive the fabric cover, I am pleased with ever other aspect of the purchase. As for the matching tank cover, I have only one very small "issue". The firepit instructions state to turn the gas on/off at the tank rather than just the control on the firepit. This means the tank cover must be removed and replaced twice for each use of the firepit. That's a bit of an annoyance. With hand-hold slots molded into the design, they are too narrow to reach into to open/close the tank valve. Too bad. If one slot was 1/2" to 3/4" wider, the user could simply reach through the slot to access the tank valve and never have to move the tank cover except to replace an empty tank.”

Len, Thanks so much for your review and suggestions! We appreciate this sort of feedback! To confirm, you don't need to turn on/off your propane tank every time you use your fire pit. You can use the valve on the side of the fire pit to control the gas flow. Essentially, the only time you need to physically adjust the LP cylinder is when you change the tank. Also, so choose to do this for "peace of mind", but it's not necessary. Hope this helps!
