“Delivery was faster than expected. Conversion from propane to natural gas was a bit tricky because instructions were generic/pictured a different looking pit, but we got it done ourselves. Fired it up and flames popped, as advertised in terms of output - adds enough heat a group can huddle around, does not radiate heat like you might get from a patio heater. Border is wide enough for drinks to placed, so that's nice. Color was a bit more blue than expected, but goes well with our setup. Two months in, my major concern is the durability of the pit. During and since installation, we have noticed areas of weakness in the concrete. We have been careful in handling, but as you can see in photos there are spots in which the exterior has started to crumble away. I've raised the problem with Starfire support but there has been no resolution as of yet. Last I heard from them, Starfire was out of repair materials and it did not sound like they would necessarily send them anyway. I am concerned that the edges, particularly edges more clearly seen, will continue/begin to crumble away.”
