“I googled how to convert my fireplace to a glass rock fireplace and found a YouTube video from Starfire Direct that walked me through each step. The video was so easy to follow and so well done that I went ahead and purchased my new burner from Starfire Direct. I followed their measurement instructions on their site, but still wasn't totally sure. So, I took advantage of the "live chat" offered on the site and it also did not disappoint. The sales assistant not only told me what size burner I needed he also did the math to figure out exactly how much glass I would need to order for the job. Math is NOT my strong suit. “I needed the burner and glass right away for a rental I told them. The sales woman I spoke with said she'd go down to shipping and expedite the order. I had it in 2 days...no extra charge! I had the dimensions of my fireplace and she helped me select the correct burner, the amount of glass and assured me the installation was simple. Total cost including high heat black paint from Lowes...$250.00. Bids from two other companies...$1,300 and $1,500. Finally, they have a You Tube video on how to install the burner and glass and how to prepare the fireplace...very easy. The results are outstanding.”
