“Just fired up our propane fire pit last night for the first time with our new Starfire Blue Fire Diamonds. My wife and I we’re sitting and enjoying a cocktail when one of the Blu Diamonds exploded, sending glass on our laps into our drinks and onto the deck. On a warm summer night we were both barefoot and had to be very cautious standing up and moving away from the fire pit. This could have been much worse had it made it’s way into our eyes. This product should be pulled from their inventory immediately! I’ll be removing the rest of the diamonds and disposing them as I wouldn’t be able to relax by the fire knowing it could happen again and cause serious injuries. I’ll be requesting a full refund and let everyone know how Starfire handles this situation.”

“Our first fire pit and it came with disc shaped black rocks, did not look good. So glad we found, Starfire Direct, pacific blue stones we picked make our fire pit look amazingly beautiful. Hi Terry, I see your order was only for 3lbs of fire glass. The listing does mention that each quantity equals 1lb of fire glass, our apologies if this was missed. Regardless, if you're still wanting 7lbs or more for your fire pit, please give us a call and we'd be happy to waive your shipping fee so that it won't have cost you any more than if you had ordered it all together. “so I recently bought 40lbs of this glass for my fire pit I was super excited because it has been bare for like 3 years and decided it was time I had ordered 10lbs to start because I was a little skeptical about the look. then after I received the 10 saw the looked good so I bought 30 more pounds now here is my issues and after I placed the second order its been an ongoing struggle. i got an email confirmation the second order was shipped as a 20lb shipment and a separate 10lb shipment in that time i decided lets see how they look with the fire going. no more than 3 min into lighting it they started to explode like grenades. i emailed support and they asked for pics which i sent them and told me that sometimes youll get "bad batches" and then they didn't say anything else no exchanges or refunds etc. then i got my 20lb shipment and they arrived shattered and the ones that weren't broke exploded as well in fire. then i received the last 10 lbs or so i thought the last package was mislabeled and there was a women's dress in the bag. i know that fedex is to blame for the item mix up and even talking to them was useless i have sent multiple emails and haven't gotten 1 single response other than the initial bad batches happen one. took my money and ran worst company ever. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!”

Damian, Thank you for your review, just left you a voicemail...to confirm, we do show two orders processed; the original 10lb order and the second 30lb order, for a total of 40lbs of fire glass. It sounds like the first order was delivered accurately, but there was a shipping glitch with the second order and you only received 20 of the 30 pounds? We agree about the wrong item delivered, this is a FedEx glitch that we were not aware of. Rest assured, we can ship you whatever was not received or refund you if it you no longer need what wasn't delivered. Regarding the explosion; you did not purchase your fire pit from us, only the fire glass. Both of your orders were placed online, and we have no record of a conversation discussing your personal fire application prior to your purchase. The reality is not all fireplaces or fire pits are compatible with fire glass, especially if propane is being used. It is better to call our sales team to advise if you're unsure.
