The Gardena Reviews

This large sized classic farmhouse style wall light is the quintessential look, shape and size to make all your barn light dreams come true. The Gardena is our most popular, and generally what most people imagine when they hear “farmhouse” or “barn lighting,” though it can be used in a million different ways however you see fit. This galvanized gooseneck light comes standard with a 16” dome and a choice between 16” gooseneck, 23” gooseneck, upward sloping gooseneck, or an 11” straight arm. Just pick your favorite configuration, then order, install, and feel at home under Steel Lighting.

A very well built light, I love the look of it. Customer support was very helpful in sending me instructions for wiring the dusk to dawn sensor that I bought with the light

This light is solid and well made. The gooseneck is made out of heavy steel conduit. There is a set screw that locks the pipe thread after leveling the lamp. Four holes in the mounting plate allows you to really secure the lamp to the electrical box. The finish feels robust enough to handle the weather. I would purchase one again.

We love the lights we purchased. The problem is with the installation. They are not made to fit a standard electric box. We have had an electrician try to install them to no avail. We are now waiting for a wood backing to be made so we can install them. Larry & Sandy Kerns

Very nice light. This was my first time installing an outdoor light fixture. I only bought 1 light, to try it out. I need to buy 6 more. Thank-You, Tom

Although the lights where expensive they met expectations. I ordered the marine grade with hopes that the finish will hold up better than the very expensive lights we bought for our home, we will have to wait and see. The only issue with these lights was when it came to screwing in the bulb. To get the bulb completely into the socket you had to really wrench on the bulb to turn it into place, which caused one bulb to shatter. Ceramic socket seems questionable that is why I rated them 4 out of 5.
