“This is a very handsome watch, well befitting the Stuhrling name. (I didn't particularly notice any difficulty seeing the hands as one other reviewer indicated.)
However, while the stylish face indicates it is a 24-hour movement, unfortunately it is not. I had emailed for clarification as I wanted a 24-hour movement and was told it was a 24-hour movement, but upon receipt of the watch I was disappointed to find that it is a conventional 12-hour movement.
My review of three stars is based on this failing; had it been a 24-hour movement it would warrant five stars.”
“This watch looks nice in the advertisement. It appears to have very legible hands. They look like they are painted white. But once I got the watch, I discovered the hands are polished steel, and virtually unable to read the time because the hands are reflecting like a mirror and basically disappear in all but the narrowest angle. Also, there is no luminescent paint on any numerals or indices. That's not a deal breaker, but I am going to have to get the hands replaced in order to make this watch actually usable.”
