“Very solid and quality construction. Love the appearance of everything down to bracelet. Timekeeping is fairly accurate, and with a very slight adjustment of the hairspring tension, I'm able to dial it in to be as accurate as +/- 1 minute over several weeks.
I get the appeal of beveled crystal above the date - makes it appear about 50% larger and sinks it deeper into the dial, which looks really nice. But wearing it underwater nullifies crystal's refraction and therefore the zoom factor, which defeats the object of the whole concept - date looks very small underwater.
Not too happy about the bracelet - it looks nice and is rock-solid, but is easily scratched.
Overall bulk and weight of this watch is on the bigger and heavier side than I would prefer, but you can't ask for a smaller size on a self-winding mechanical watch. It is a very impressive and quality timepiece!!”
“I was very impressed with the quality of my new Sturhling Regatta. It arrived safely, well packaged and in excellent condition. The finish is superb and the watch is very well finished and a nice solid but not too heavy weight on my wrist. It feels like I’ve always worn it even though I’ve only had it for a week. I haven’t tried wearing it whilst swimming and probably won’t. I’m not a diver anyway. It looks and feels the part and has been extremely good value for money.”
