“I doubted whether the Cicero would feel as good in the hand as it looks in photos, but it does nicely in that regard. Photos don't convey the effect of the marbleized strip in the barrel; it's really an eye-catching detail.
The quality of the gel ink refill was a bit of a surprise. I'm not partial to gel ink refills as the ones that I've tried tend to produce a thicker, rougher stroke than I'd like. The Cicero's included gel refill produces a thin, clean stroke that is hard to distinguish from conventional ink.
It's a nice pen.”
