“Hi SD staff: I thought I’d wait a full two weeks since planting because I did not have success with this plant as a 2” pot last year. Last year I kept in the original pot and ‘wet thoroughly’ upon arrival and the soil did not go to dryness quick enough and the plant suffered root rot. This 4” plant below is in a much larger pot with cactus mix. I watered sparingly for several days. I have increased the volume to just 50 ml once per week directly over the plant growth so that any excess will dissipate into the surrounding dry soil. This plant is doing well.”
